Our Journey The story of CCR began in October 2021 when Vince, a former music Artist and internet web Master, found himself disillusioned with the constraints of traditional media. Struggling to find a platform that truely represented independent artists and diverse perspectives, he dreamed of creating a space where music and stories could flourish without the pretense and rigidity of conventional broadcasting. Inspired by his vision, a group of friends - each with their own unique talents joined him to turn the dream into reality. The first DJ Robbie General, he met was talking to someone else about radio, he joined the conversation then introduce Robbie General to what he has put together. Robbie General was quite amazed and very interested in what he was doing and exchange numbers. That has set the stage for what would become a kaleidoscope of DJs and sound. They envisioned a station that not only played a variety of genres but music for big people, showcased local talents and play hits that mattered. Vince with his deep love for music, took the reins as the station,s artistic director and programmer. He curated playlists that spanned from classic reggae to world beats, ensuring that every show programmed well and felt like a journey through sound. He is also the tech whiz, who ensured the station,s online presence was seamless and engaging. He crafted an interactive website, an app which available in both google and apple stores and twelve TV channels as well as connections with other radio directories app where listeners could not only tune in but also share their thoughts and requests in real time. Robbie General introduce Barry Don, who have the gift of a unique voice and a well experience selector. He started out his show very humbly just playing with less talking. Then he decided that he would like a theme for his show, he then decide to engage with his audience with asking riddles. It became one of the most beloved features of the station, creating a sense of belonging among listeners from all walks of life all over the world. Then there was DJ Trevor introduced by Barry Don who had a gift of knowledge of knowing what music to play to get people on their feet. That is unique to him.You either know it or not. In all his shows you will hear a track that is rear but is really entertaining and at the right time and blend in with what is played before and what he will play after. It can take many years to learn this type of skill but he had it naturally. Another star of the CCR family is YOE. YOE is a unique Dj, introduce to the station by DJ Trevor. He has the same talent and qualities of DJ Trevor but with a different feel and he plays a different kind of music. He plays all the newest releases each week but they are very selective. He will play a dancehall tune but it have to be some what different with a hit sound. He mostly plays just the brand new reggae but espect to hear lyrics with gospel and so on but you will never hear a hint of swearing in any songs that he plays. Everyone can listen to his show, its that cool and fresh. All brand new sweet reggae music to your ears. Lady Sunray, the Zion Party host and the only female DJ on CCR is a close friend of the CCR family. She was introduce to the CCR family by Barry Don. Barry Don made the choice to introduce her and we believe that she would shine mainly because of Barry,s Talent. We trust that Barry Don have the ability to choose talented people for the radio and we were correct. When lady sunray came to CCR, she was new to radio DJ , she has never done it before. but her debut went down very well and we could see that she will be a success story. However she learn on the job and as the weeks went on she improve. Her interaction with the public was very well received and with every broadcast, lady sunray continued to weave a rich tapestry of connections, listeners felt like friends blossoming into one gospel family. Her ratings started going up until one week we had the highest rating ever and that was her show. Now Lady Sunray owns the air waves every sunday between 14:00 - 16:00. Within a year Lady Sunray sounds like she has been doing this over many years, sounding very confident on the microphone and producing some fantastic shows. Soul Delicious Crew - DJ Deks SoulDelicious Crew came in as professionals, true pro they are with a style of their own, playing all the classic soul and laying out all the stories of the artists. They realised very soon that this was more than an online radio station. It is a movement that thrived on authenticity and connections. The sound of Souldelicious crew is not just about music, It is about people, their dreams and the collective narrative of life shared through the magic of sound. Their show is like a reminder that in a world filled with noise, sometimes all it takes is a little bit of harmony to foster understanding and connection, that is the magic of their show.  Just listen to what DJ Dekks is saying on the mic and you will get a show like no other, at the end of their show you will wanting more and wish they could stay on a bit longer. DJ Dekks is very serious and passionate about what he do, he is straight to the point, no ifs or buts. One of the most recent DJ to join CCR is DJ Richie Diamond with the Retro Junction Show. This is truly the biggest hype up show on the radio. Every Saturdays DJ Richie Diamond owns the airwaves  on CCR with a high ratings worldwide. We can confidently say that Richie Diamond Retro Junction show is the most listening show week after week on CCR.  Another big show that hit CCR airwaves is the Lovers Rock show every Friday from 17:00 to 19:00. hosted by DJ Maestro. The ladies can't get enough or wait to get this show every week and it drops in the middle of Fridays drive time home which makes it very popular. CCR Radio prided itself on being a platform for good music. The station segment showcase music from every corner of the world, breaking cultural barriers and inviting listeners to dance to the rhythms of different types of songs. Through this initiative, listeners in tiny towns got to marvel at the rich cultures of far-off countries, all thanks to CCR  sharing the language of music.
